The Allen-Bradley 2711P-RP6A is a logical module developed for PanelView Plus CE operator terminals. It takes AC input voltage and has 128 MB of flash storage and 128 MB of RAM embedded into it. It is interoperable with the ViewPoint application and has the marine certification. Before changing or installing any components, the connection to the terminal must be turned on. An electric shock or terminal harm could come from not doing this. When dealing with a module similar to this one, an ESD bracelet that is properly grounded should be worn, and the job should be done in a static-free area.

It includes status indicators, two USB sockets, an External memory card slot, an Ethernet interface, a serial port, and input connectors for AC power. The internal RAM & CompactFlash should be inserted before the logic module is linked to the display module if ordered individually. After rotating the logic module to remove the circuit panel, find the RAM module, remove the metal holding pins, pull out the RAM module, and then afterward slide in the new RAM module at an angle of 45 degrees.

The internal CompactFlash storage is installed or replaced by turning the module so that the circuit panel is exposed, removing the holding clip holding the CompactFlash card in place, pulling out the internal CompactFlash stick, replacing it with a new stick, and screwing the holding clip back on. To meet marine emission guidelines, a Belden 7921A insulated Class 5E Ethernet cable should be utilized. 100 meters is the longest Ethernet wire that can be used. This module's operating temperature range is 0 – 55 degrees Centigrade.
