The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T7C4D8 is a graphical visualization module that creates a graphical user interface for devices and operations. It belongs to the PanelView Plus 6 Graphical operator terminal product line. The assemblage of display & logic modules, which house the main elements of this module, offers an intuitive control and monitoring interface.

It features a 6.5-inch screen with a viewing diameter of 132 * 99 millimeters (5.2 × 3.9 inches) and a pixel resolution of 640 by 480, having 18-bit 3d graphics, which display colored graphics. An area indicator for common production systems, a color-coded graphical display of a fluid passing through a pipe or being kept in a vessel, also the status of equipment and gadgets are all visible to users. The analog-resistant touch input screen that this operator uses to communicate with the process is made to be executed about 1 million times, including an actuating force of 10 to 110 grams.

The 512 MB of available RAM in this module is not utilized outside the operation. This guarantees quick switching between HMI screens and slick operation with real-time objects. The operator terminal uses the 512MB Flash memory to store system files like logs, recipes, manuals, trends, and other associated information together with HMI applications.

The embedded Windows CE operating system standard version provides the setting environment for this module. It makes it available for PDF Viewer, VNC Remote Access, Windows basic commands, and File Transfer Protocol (FTP). An embedded Ethernet connection with a programmable IP address is built into the terminal. It supports MDI as well as MDI-X connections and features an RJ-45, 10/100Base-T interface for network communication.

The screen transition speed is roughly 70% quicker, and the processing speed has improved from 350 MHz - 1 GHz. The flash storage capacity improved from 64MB to 512MB, while the system memory went from 64MB to 512 MB. Displays with backlights now have more lighting. Furthermore, it offers improved communication to a range of external peripherals, including keyboards, mice, and printers.
