TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The Allen-Bradley 2711P-T9W22D9P-BSHK model is a PanelView plus 7 performance stainless steel terminal with 9 inches TFT color touch screen, 800x480 display resolution, a viewing area of 7.7 inches in width and 4.6 inches in height and aspect ratio of 5:3.

Its electronic modules are conformally coated, protecting it from moisture, dust, and corrosive gases. The backlight is irreplaceable and made from solid-state white light-emitting diodes. The minimum life span of the backlight is 50,000 hours at 40℃ (104 ℉) and half brightness. The touch screen is analog resistive type, meaning it is a touch/pressure sensitive display that will respond at an operating force of 100 grams. Its actuation rating is 1 million presses.

These terminals have battery-backed real-time clocks (RTCs) with ±2 minutes per month accuracy. The battery’s life is a minimum of 4 years at 25℃ (77℉). The battery is replaceable, so that the CR2032 lithium coin cell can be used as a replacement.

It features two Ethernet ports with 10/100Base-T and auto MDI/MDI-X technology that supports device level ring (DLR) and linear or star network topologies. One secure digital (SD) card slot for external storage supports CAT# 1784-SDx and 1784-SDHCx cards. To ensure superior monitoring and human-machine interface (HMI), it supports FactoryTalk View Studio for Machine Edition and FactoryTalk Viewpoint version 2.6 or later software.

The series A stainless steel 9 inches terminals come with 512 MB RAM, 512 MB storage, approximately 80 MB nonvolatile storage for applications, and two USB high-speed 2.0 host ports (Type A) that support removable flash drives for external storage. At the same time, the operating system is Windows CE 6.0 with extended features and MS Office Viewers (including FTP, VNC client-server, ActiveX controls, PDF reader, and third-party support).

Both series B & series C stainless steel terminals come with 4 GB RAM, 19.87 GB storage, and approximately 2 GB nonvolatile storage for applications. One USB high-speed 3.0 host port, one USB 2.0 host port (Type A) which also supports removable interface flash drives for external storage, and one high-speed 2.0 device port (Type B). The operating system is Windows 10 IoT Core. The series B stainless steel terminals come with 18-bit color graphics, and the series C stainless steel terminals come with 24-bit color graphics.

Hence, the differentiating factors between series A, B & C stainless steel terminals are memory specifications, USB ports (host/device), operating system, and 18-bit or 24-bit color graphics.

As far as electrical specifications are concerned, the nominal input voltage is 24V DC, and the operating voltage range varies from 18V DC to 30V DC. The device consumes 50 watts at maximum and 30 watts at 24V DC with 2.1A. These PanelView stainless steel terminals come with 24V DC supplies that support safety extra low voltage (SELV) and protective extra low voltage (PELV) such as CAT# 1606-XLP95E, 1606-XLP100E and 2711P-RSACDIN.

Its body weight is approximately 2.1 kg, dimensions (H x W x D) are 7.48 x 11.02 x 2.74 inches, the bezel is made from 316 stainless steel, and hygienic no. 4A finish. It uses FDA compliant (21CFR 177.2600) silicon gasket.
