The 5130-RM1 Resource Manager module by Allen Bradley is a critical component for the PLC-5/250 programmable controller, featuring a 128K pyramid integrator and 192K system memory. It supports user-defined global memory accessible by other Pyramid Integrator modules, ideal for multi-Logic Processor data sharing. Operating on 5 Volts DC at 2.9 AMPS or 12 Volts DC at 0.07 AMPS, the RM is slot-dependent and must be positioned in the leftmost chassis slot next to the power supply. It directs bus communication on the backplane, establishes external device communication, and handles system faults, contributing to its essential role in system configuration and power management. Additionally, it facilitates communication with two DH and DH+ ports, enabling message routing within a network of resource managers.
