The Allen-Bradley 592-EC2ED Electronic Overload Relay is part of the robust 592 series, engineered to protect both single-phase and three-phase squirrel-cage induction motors. This solid-state device, featuring a microprocessor control unit, offers an adjustable trip range from 18 to 90 Amps, adaptable for Bulletin 500 contactors of size "3". It provides essential protection and configurability with phase loss protection, user-adjustable trip settings from 100% to 600% of full load Amps, and adjustable enable times up to 250 seconds. Additionally, it includes over-temperature protection via embedded PTC thermistor monitoring. The relay supports DeviceNet connectivity, allowing remote monitoring of critical parameters such as phase current, average current, and thermal capacity, while also offering comprehensive diagnostics like ground-fault current and trip status monitoring.
