TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

FANUC A06B-0212-B100

The AC servo motor A06B-0212-B100 is the perfect choice for machine tool feed axis needs, boasting powerful capabilities and a range of features to maximize efficiency.

The magnetic pole shape of the model minimizes torque ripples, facilitating precise current control and pulse coder feedback for remarkably smooth motor rotation.

Technical Description of A06B-0212-B100:

Achieving unprecedented efficiency and power, this motor A06B-0212-B100 is designed with a special rotor shape that allows it to reach a maximum rotational speed of 4000 revolutions per minute while maintaining its compact size. What's more, the motor boasts 267 Hz frequency and high torque capabilities ensuring extraordinary acceleration capacity.

The A06B-0212-B100 model produces a powerful 2 Nm torque with only 3.3 A of current consumption. However, to guard against temperature spikes from an overload condition, thermal functions are necessary for monitoring purposes.

The A06B-0212-B100 motor is equipped with a low-error optical encoder (pulse coder) for precise positioning, making it ideal for applications requiring anything from simple to complex accuracy.

The A06B-0212-B100 AC servo motor is designed and built for optimal performance, boasting an insulation class of F and a power factor of 98%, delivering high-power efficiency with low energy usage. Its shaft features an oil seal to ensure no foreign matter can enter the motor, maintaining its safe operation.

The motor model A06B-0212-B100 offers a robust 0.75 kW output with only 2.9 A of current consumption, thanks to its totally-enclosed, frictionless brushless design that can work in even the most extreme environments without needing extra monitoring or upkeep.

Ambient Conditions:

The A06B-0212-B100 motor can be safely and effectively operated at elevated heights, with a minimum ambient temperature of 1°C for every 100 m elevation above the maximum 1000m. Special care is not necessary when doing so.

To ensure the motor performs safely, its ambient temperature should remain between -10 and 40 °C. Reduce the output power to prevent the engine temperature from reaching dangerous levels when operating at higher temperatures.

General Safety Information:

Ensuring that you follow the proper safety protocols when connecting and operating a motor near flammable materials is paramount to keeping all operators safe. Connecting the grounding terminal of both machine and the power line will help prevent electric shocks while avoiding potential ignition or explosive results caused by excessive heat buildup in the motor.

Shield the A06B-0212-B100 motor from any potential contact with cutting fluid or lubricant using a cover when necessary. However, you cannot guarantee total protection without utilizing the telescopic feature of the sliding part to ensure no leakage occurs.

Moving heavy machines with motors attached requires special care. When transporting, it is important to avoid damaging or causing damage by hanging bolts. Additionally, take caution against overworking motor windings when transferring machinery €“ too much stress on windings can lead to breakage and deterioration in insulation quality.

Exercise extreme caution when near a rotating motor component. Do not underestimate its ability to grasp clothing and limbs; keep clear at all times for your safety. Before engaging the motor, ensure that the surroundings are clear of any loose objects to prevent them from becoming airborne.
