TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

HF-MP13B

The HF-MP13B model refers to the HF-MP series of servo motors designed by Mitsubishi. The model features an electronic brake and has a low moment of inertia. The model is intended to have a low capacity while rotating at high speed and producing a high torque output, which is significant in various applications. This versatile, high-performance general-purpose servo motor HF-MP13B, is compatible with various servo drivers and amplifiers.

Technical Specifications of HF-MP13B

The model HF-MP13B generated a rated torque of 0.32 Nm and a rated power of 0.1 kW at a rated current consumption of 0.9 A. The model’s housing is suitable for natural cooling and has an IP65 dust and liquid rating and an insulation class of 130(B). The model has a moment of inertia of 0.032 x 10-4 kgm2 and can generate a maximum torque of 0.95 Nm. The HF-MP13B servo motor is equipped with a speed/position detector and can rotate at a maximum speed of 6000 revolutions per minute.

The motor HF-MP13B has an electronic spring-loaded safety brake having a brake static friction torque of 0.32 Nm and a capacity of 6.3 W (20 degrees centigrade). The brake has a coil resistance of 91 ohms and an inductance of 0.15 H. Release delay time for the brake is 0.3 seconds, and the braking delay time is 0.01 seconds. The brake has permissible braking work of 5.6 J per braking and 56 J per hour. The expected life of the electric brake is 20000 braking cycles.

Ambience Working Conditions and Installation Instructions

It is advised that the model be used indoors, and the area in which it is used should be free of corrosive gas, flammable gas, and dust. The HF-MP13B servo motor must be used in a setting with a temperature range of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and a relative humidity range of 10 to 80 percent non-condensing. These conditions must be met for the motor to function properly. You must satisfy specific requirements if you want the motor to work correctly.

It is important to assemble the HF-MP13B servo motor in a horizontal position and to keep the oil level in the gearbox below the oil seal lip. Servo motor failure can occur if oil enters the motor through the oil seal if the oil level is higher than the lip of the oil seal. The high pressure causes erosion on the oil seal, shortening its lifetime.

General Instructions and Safety Cautions

A trained professional should handle the installation and operation of model HF-MP13B to ensure peak performance and safety. Anyone who will be handling the wire or conducting the examination must be fully competent in doing so. The servo motor must be well protected from oil and other combustible chemicals, screws, and other conductive materials. The motor can only be powered by the source specified in the manual.

If the servo motor HF-MP13B is damaged or missing components, you shouldn’t try to install or use it. Check the vibration level by comparing the general motor’s vibration chart with the vibration level of the servo motor attached to the machine. Vibrations might cause early failure of the bearing or brake. The vibration might also cause the connection between the two parts to weaken or the bolts to loosen. While the HF-MP13B servo motor is in use, it is important to take safety measures, such as providing covers, to ensure no one gains access to the moving parts.
