TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The HG-KR43 model is part of Mitsubishi's HG-KR line of general-purpose servo motors. The model is characterized by a low moment of inertia and a limited capacity. The model is designed to rotate quickly while generating substantial torque, which is helpful in various contexts. This adaptable, high-performance servo motor HG-KR43 is compatible with several servo drivers and amplifiers.
Technical Information of HG-KR43
The HG-KR43 model generates a rated torque of 1.3 Nm and a rated power of 0.4 kW when running continuously. The model can rotate at a maximum speed of 6000 revolutions per minute and a rated speed of 3000 revolutions per minute. The servo motor has a 22-bit encoder for speed and position detection. The encoder has 4194304 pulses per revolution. The model HG-KR43 has a thermal class of 130 (B) and lacks a thermistor. The motor housing satisfies the IP65 protection rating and is suitable for natural cooling, except for the central shaft part. IP ratings categorize the resistance of electrical enclosures to dust, debris, and water.
The servo motor HG-KR43 weighs 1.4 kilograms and has a moment of inertia of 0.371 x 10-4 kgm2. The instantaneous permissible speed for the model is 6900 revolutions per minute, producing a 43.7 kW/s power rate at continuous rated torque. The power supply input for the model HG-KR43 for the 3 phase should be 200 VAC, and the single phase should be 230 VAC.
Allowable Working Conditions and Installation Instructions
The HG-KR43 model is best utilized in a clean, dust-free, and gas-free environment; thus, it's best to keep it indoors. The servo motor can only be used in conditions where the temperature stays between 0 and +40 degrees Celsius, and the humidity stays between 10% and 80%, provided that it is not condensing. The motor will only run once these requirements are satisfied. You must adhere to several strict guidelines for the motor to function correctly.
Even if the servo motor HG-KR43 is positioned at 2000 meters above sea level, there is no performance degradation. The servo motor must be installed with the shaft horizontally, and the lubricant level in the gearbox must be maintained below the oil seal lip. If the lubricant level is above the lubricant seal lip, the lubricant will enter the motor and cause the servo motor to fail. The lubricant seal's lifespan is shortened due to the high pressure that causes erosion. To minimize accidents and vibrations, the installation should be performed by a qualified expert.
General Precautions and Cautions for HG-KR43
Oil and other flammable substances, screws, and other conductive materials must not be allowed near the servo motor HG-KR43. Safety precautions, such as providing coverings, should be taken while the servo motor operates to prevent unauthorized access to its moving components. Everyone working with the wire or administering the test must be well-versed in their respective fields.
The only adequate power supply for the motor is indicated in the instructions. Compare the servo motor's vibration chart with the regular motor's chart to determine the amount of vibration. A bearing or brake might fail prematurely due to vibrations. Additionally, the vibration may loosen the bolts or weaken the connection between the two components. Avoid setting up or using a servo motor HG-KR43 that seems defective or missing parts.
