The MR-J2S-40CP model belongs to the JS2 family of efficient servo amplifiers manufactured by Mitsubishi. There is an absolute position encoder within every servo motor. This software has several features, including machine simulation, machine analyzer, and gain search.

The software requires at least 60 MB of free space on the hard drive and works with Windows XP and later. To perform a positioning operation, the MR Configurator is necessary. The servo amplifier's control panel lacks the functionality necessary to carry out this procedure. A single positioning action may occur when no external order is present. The MR-J2S-40CP servo amplifier has a front-panel LED display with five digits and seven segments for monitoring and adjusting various functions.
