Part Number: 777744-01
Model Name: PCI-6025E

The National Instruments 777744-01 is a multifunction I/O device designed to meet a wide range of applications including research, design verification/testing, factory testing, and laboratory automation. This device features two analog output channels, sixteen analog input channels (with eight configured as differential), and thirty-two digital I/O lines. It is equipped with two 24-bit counters and connects via a 100-pin connector. The NI-DAQmx driver and configuration tool streamline the initial setup and measurement processes. The device incorporates the National Instruments DAQ-STC system timing controller, which supports general-purpose counter/timer functions, as well as analog input and output operations, offering a timing resolution of up to 50 ns. This technology facilitates advanced applications such as equivalent time sampling, buffered pulse generation, and adaptive sampling rate adjustments.

A key feature of the 777744-01 is the Real-Time System Integration (RTSI) bus, allowing the synchronization of multiple measurement functions with a single trigger or timing event. In PCI systems, the RTSI bus routes timing and trigger signals among up to five DAQ devices, while PXI systems can support the connection of up to seven DAQ devices through the PXI backplane. The device seamlessly interfaces with SCXI systems and various sensors, including strain gauges, thermocouples, RTDs, voltage sources, and current sources, to acquire analog signals and facilitate digital signal generation and acquisition for control and communication.

The 777744-01 supports three input modes: nonreferenced single-ended (NRSE), referenced single-ended (RSE), and differential (DIFF), accommodating up to 16 channels in single-ended mode and up to 8 channels in differential mode. Each channel can be individually configured with gains of 0.5, 1.0, 10, or 100 to optimize the resolution of the 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The device's two analog output channels provide a fixed bipolar range of ±10 V, employing a two's complement format for data interpretation from the digital-to-analog converter (DAC). Additionally, the device includes eight general-purpose digital I/O lines, which can be configured as inputs or outputs through software.
