Part Number: 781475-01
The National Instruments 781475-01 is a highly versatile multifunction I/O module, also designated as the PXIe-6376, engineered to meet the demands of advanced data acquisition and signal processing applications. This module features eight differential analog input channels, each equipped with a 16-bit ADC and capable of simultaneous sampling at a maximum single-channel rate of 3.571 MS/s. The adjustable input range of ±1 V to ±10 V includes overvoltage protection up to ±36 V when the device is powered, ensuring reliability in various conditions. Additionally, the module is equipped with two analog output channels that utilize a 16-bit DAC, allowing for an update rate of up to 3.3 MS/s per channel. The outputs can be configured to ±10 V or ±5 V and support external reference inputs via the APFI 0 terminal. Designed for low noise signal generation, the analog output features a full-scale step settling time of 2 µs and minimizes glitch energy to 6 nV·s at midscale transitions, making it ideal for precise applications in telecommunications and high-energy physics.

The 781475-01 module also includes 24 configurable digital I/O channels for either input or output, complemented by up to 16 programmable function interface (PFI) channels. These digital lines are capable of high-speed waveform acquisition and generation with maximum clock frequencies of 10 MHz. Furthermore, the module houses four 32-bit general-purpose counters/timers, capable of executing various measurements such as edge counting and pulse width generation, with external base clock operations reaching up to 100 MHz. For improved synchronization and triggering capabilities, the module employs onboard NI-STC3 timing technology, offering independent timing engines for both analog and digital functions. It supports various trigger sources, including analog triggers from the AI channels and digital triggers from PFI lines or PXI triggers, with a phase-locked loop (PLL) facilitating accurate clock synchronization across multiple modules within a PXI Express framework. This device is designed in a standard 3U PXI format, making it compatible with standard PXI Express or hybrid slots and has a weight of 168 g (5.9 oz). The warranty period ranges from 2 to 3 years, ensuring long-term support for users.
