The National Instruments 782264-01 is a USB-6366 Multifunction I/O Module designed for versatile data acquisition and control applications. This module features eight differential analog input channels, each equipped with a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that delivers high-resolution measurements. It supports a maximum sample rate of 2 MS/s per channel, making it suitable for capturing fast transient signals. The adjustable input range accommodates various signal levels, offering options of ±1 V, ±2 V, ±5 V, and ±10 V. With a high input impedance of over 100 GΩ (in parallel with 100 pF when powered on) and a common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) of 75 dB at 60 Hz, the module ensures reliable performance and accuracy.

Additionally, the USB-6366 includes two analog output channels, also at 16-bit resolution, capable of generating signals with a maximum update rate of 3.3 MS/s per channel and a configurable output range of up to ±10 V. The low output impedance of 0.4 Ω allows for a driving capability of up to ±5 mA. The module offers 24 programmable digital I/O lines that support TTL/CMOS logic levels, complete with built-in pull-down resistors for stable logic states. It facilitates waveform generation and acquisition, equipped with FIFO sizes of 2,047 samples for digital output and 255 samples for digital input, alongside four 32-bit general-purpose counters/timers for precise timing and event counting.

For enhanced control, the USB-6366 offers extensive triggering capabilities, including analog edge triggering with hysteresis and analog window triggering, along with one analog trigger source and multiple digital trigger sources such as PFI lines and internal signals. Built to perform reliably in diverse environments, the module operates within a temperature range of 0 °C to 45 °C, while storage temperatures can range from -40 °C to 70 °C. It withstands operational shocks of up to 30 g peak and random vibrations of 0.3 grms. The dimensions of the module are 26.4 cm x 17.3 cm x 3.6 cm, and it weighs approximately 1.428 kg in the screw terminal version, making it a robust choice for industrial applications.
