The National Instruments 783153-01, also known as the USRP-2954R, is a state-of-the-art software-defined radio (SDR) device designed for the rapid prototyping of high-performance wireless communication systems. This versatile SDR device is fully integrated with National Instruments' LabVIEW reconfigurable I/O (RIO) architecture, making it an indispensable tool for researchers and engineers focused on developing sophisticated wireless applications. The USRP-2954R supports advanced functionalities including multiple input, multiple output (MIMO), spectrum sensing, LTE relaying, cognitive radio, beamforming, direction finding, and RF compressive sampling.
The transmitter section features two channels operating across a frequency range of 10 MHz to 6 GHz, with frequency steps below 1 kHz for precise tuning. The maximum output power ranges from 50 mW to 100 mW for frequencies up to 4 GHz and from 5 mW to 50 mW for frequencies between 4 GHz and 6 GHz. Gain can be adjusted from 0 dB to 31.5 dB in 0.5 dB increments. The device offers a maximum instantaneous real-time bandwidth of 160 MHz, complemented by a maximum I/Q sample rate of 200 MS/s, supported by a 16-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC).
On the receiver side, the USRP-2954R also encompasses two channels, covering the same expansive frequency range. The receiver gain extends from 0 dB to 37.5 dB in 0.5 dB steps, with a maximum input power of -15 dBm and a low noise figure of 5 dB to 7 dB. The receiver maintains a similar maximum real-time bandwidth of 160 MHz and I/Q sample rate of 200 MS/s, aided by a 14-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) for exceptional signal fidelity.
Equipped with a GPS-disciplined oscillator (GPSDO), the USRP-2954R enhances frequency accuracy and synchronization. The 10 MHz oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) ensures a frequency accuracy of 25 parts per billion (ppb) when unlocked, improving to 5 ppb when synchronized to GPS. The active antenna operates at 5V, consuming 0.7 Watts of power. This compact SDR device measures 26.67 cm x 4.06 cm x 21.84 cm and weighs 1.588 kg, making it suitable for various applications in wireless communications. The USRP-2954R comes with a warranty period of 2 to 3 years, ensuring reliability and support for your research and development projects.
All products are covered by Industrial Automation Co.'s 2-Year Warranty.
