The National Instruments 783687-01 CompactDAQ Controller, also known as cDAQ-9133, is a robust and compact industrial controller designed for versatile data acquisition applications. Powered by a 1.33 GHz dual-core Intel Atom E3825 CPU, the controller provides seamless processing capabilities along with 2 GB of DDR3L RAM and 16 GB of solid-state drive (SSD) storage for efficient data handling. Equipped with two Ethernet ports that support 10Base-T, 100Base-TX, and 1000Base-T interfaces, the cDAQ-9133 adheres to IEEE 802.3 standards, allowing for tunable communication speeds of 10 Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 1000 Mbps over a maximum cabling distance of 100 meters. In addition to Ethernet connectivity, the controller features two USB 2.0 Hi-Speed host ports and one USB 2.0 Hi-Speed device port, as well as an RS-232 serial port supporting up to 115,200 bps.

For data storage expansion, the cDAQ-9133 includes an SD card slot compatible with SD and SDHC cards, supporting capacities up to 32 GB. The device is capable of delivering video output through a Mini DisplayPort with a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1600 at 60 Hz. The cDAQ-9133 operates effectively in ambient temperatures ranging from -20 °C to 55 °C and maintains relative humidity levels from 10% to 90%, suitable for indoor applications. For storage, it withstands temperatures between -40 °C and 85 °C with relative humidity levels from 5% to 95%. The device is designed for installation at elevations up to 5,000 meters and is compatible with copper conductor wire sizes from 20 AWG to 14 AWG. The CompactDAQ Controller is also compatible with multiple operating systems, including Windows Embedded Standard 7 and NI Linux Real-Time.
