The National Instruments PXI-2565 is a robust 7 A, 16-channel Single-Pole Single-Throw (SPST) relay module specifically designed for high-current switching applications involving both AC and DC power sources. The non-latching electromechanical relays employed in this module feature gold-flash over silver alloy contacts, demonstrating reliable performance with a typical operation time of 5 ms and release time of 4 ms at 20 °C. The module's mechanical relay lifespan is rated at 50 million cycles, while its electrical lifespan extends to 100,000 cycles. Designed for efficient triggering, the PXI-2565 utilizes PXI trigger lines <0...7> with a minimum pulse width of 70 ns.
