The National Instruments PXI-6115 is a high-performance multifunction I/O module designed for demanding industrial automation applications. This module features four differential analog input channels with a 12-bit resolution and a maximum sampling rate of 10 MS/s per channel, allowing for precise data acquisition in various environments. It is equipped with two analog output channels and eight digital I/O lines, along with dedicated analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) for enhanced multichannel accuracy and execution efficiency. The onboard memory is optimally allocated, with half dedicated to analog input and the other half to analog output, facilitating reliable data transmission and reduced bus access constraints.

The PXI-6115 supports a variety of applications, including automotive testing up to 42 V, transient and ballistic measurements, radar, sonar, and ultrasound data collection, as well as high-energy physics experiments. To enhance connectivity, the module is compatible with the NI TB-2708 terminal block, which provides direct SMB access to all analog inputs and outputs, alongside trigger lines and counters. It also offers a versatile 68-pin male SCSI-II I/O connection.

Incorporating advanced features, the PXI-6115 includes two 3-pole Bessel analog filters with cutoff frequencies of 50 kHz and 500 kHz, ensuring high fidelity in data measurements. The device can be seamlessly integrated with NI LabVIEW, enabling users to develop custom applications without extensive graphical programming, leveraging over 500 analysis functions. The recommended warm-up time for optimal operation is 15 minutes, and annual calibration is advised to maintain accuracy. With dimensions of 6.3 x 3.9 inches, the PXI-6115 operates within a temperature range of 0 °C to 50 °C and can be stored in conditions ranging from -20 °C to 70 °C.

Please note that the PXI-6115 has been declared obsolete by National Instruments but remains available through Apex Waves, which specializes in buying, selling, and servicing end-of-life NI hardware. For further inquiries, including pricing, please contact a sales representative.
