Its auto-MDI capability eliminates the need for crossover cabling, simplifying connectivity with other network cards, as it can automatically determine and adjust for crossed connections internally. The Ethernet port supports full duplex communication, allowing simultaneous transmission and reception of data. The module provides up to 13 PXI star triggers per chassis, maintaining a strict propagation delay of no more than 1 ns for optimal performance, with typical skew limitations of 500 ps within NI PXI chassis. Users can direct low skew triggers from any PFI line to the PXI_Star lines, further enhancing system synchronization.
