The National Instruments PXI-8156 is a versatile embedded PXI/cPCI controller designed for comprehensive PXI functionality, supporting both C function calls and interactive utility. This controller features an Intel MMX Pentium processor with options of 166 MHz or 233 MHz, and is equipped with a variety of I/O ports readily accessible on the front panel, including a 3.5-inch 1.44 MB floppy drive, a 2 GB hard drive (expandable), Super VGA, two RS-232 serial ports, a USB port, PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports, a 10BaseT Ethernet port, an Extended Capabilities Port (ECP), and a 24-pin GPIB port.
