The National Instruments SC-2060 Digital Input Module is an optically isolated device featuring eight digital input channels, designed to interface seamlessly with various NI DAQ devices. This module, part of the SC-206x Series, utilizes optocouplers to accommodate digital signal sensing with a maximum voltage of 400 Vrms. Each channel boasts independent voltage connections, allowing for flexible low-level and high-level logic detection based on a 3 V and 9 V reference signal. With a maximum input current rating of 20 mA per channel, a resistor can be implemented for applications requiring higher current limits. Compact in size, the device measures 5.2 x 4.9 x 1.8 inches and operates within a temperature range of 0° to 70°C, with a storage temperature range of -55° to 125°C. Humidity requirements specify a non-condensing environment of 5% to 90% for both operation and storage. Although the SC-2060 is designated as obsolete by National Instruments, it remains accessible for purchase and repairs through Apex Waves.
