The National Instruments SCXI-1162HV is a Digital I/O Module designed for industrial automation and control applications, providing robust signal processing capabilities. Multiplexer mode allows for the reading of 32-bit digital patterns from the SCXI module using a serial data protocol with a maximum throughput of 1,000 words per second. In parallel mode, the module connects directly to digital I/O devices such as the DIO-24, DIO-32HS, DIO-96, and others.

Measuring 1.2 by 6.8 by 8.0 inches, the SCXI-1162HV is backed by a three-year warranty, and while it has been marked obsolete, it remains available for purchase and repair through Apex Waves.
