TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Schneider Electric 140CPU67260
Schneider Electric has designed and manufactured this CPU module 140CPU67260, which can accommodate various application requirements.
The model 140CPU67260 has a generous capacity of 500 analog inputs and outputs distributed across the system. It also allows for up to 6 additional optional modules, including Ethernet, Modbus, Modbus Plus, Profibus DP, and Sy/Max.
Technical Description of 140CPU67260:
This cutting-edge model 140CPU67260 packs 3072 Kb of internal RAM and an additional 7168 kb, expandable via PCMCIA card. Operating at a blistering 266 MHz clock frequency, This device effortlessly tackles even the most challenging tasks.
The 140CPU67260 model is outfitted with an ethernet router for increased efficiency, featuring a system overhead of 0.2 ms and 1 ms, respectively, for fast tasks and master task operations. The design includes two LEDs for better performance: a green one that signals successful ethernet activity and a red one that notifies users of network collisions.
This CPU module offers a robust combination of resources, with two local racks and 63 distributed I/O stations for precision timing. The system can handle application-specific input, including serial links, high-speed interrupts, and counters.
The 140CPU67260 model, a unity processor with an impressive bus current requirement of 2760 mA and a maximum discrete I/O capacity of 31 K words remote, boasts 8000 inputs and outputs distributed for superior performance.
This CPU unit includes three connection points - a SUB-D 9 connector for linking to Modbus Plus networks, an RJ45 port connecting Ethernet systems, and finally, an MT-RJ (multimode fiber optic) module enabling communication between primary & secondary PLCs up to 4km apart.
LED and Key Switch Instructions:
Equipped with a 2-line by 16-character LCD and an automatically managed backlight state, the CPU enables efficient control of its LEDs to maximize lifespan. The user can easily activate the backlighting when pressing keys or receiving error messages onscreen.
The backlight conserves battery life by automatically turning off after 5 minutes of inactivity. The LCD screen illuminates when displaying an error message.
The LCD and keypad have been specially designed for intuitive navigation, with a controller status screen as the default view. It provides access to an array of top system menus with one menu option per page; each submenu is marked with its title line while options are listed on the second line - bringing simple yet effective usability to every user experience.
The 140CPU67260 model's security key switch prevents tampering and provides memory protection. When in the "Locked" or "Unlocked" position, only the PLC Operating System Executive can interpret its codes, not just any section of the firmware.
The CPU unit 140CPU67260 offers intuitive menus to effortlessly control PLC operations, such as starting and stopping processes. Administrators can quickly manage all necessary settings for optimal performance by reviewing the communications parameters in said system menus.
Safety Precautions:
The 140CPU67260 model facilitates industry-standard operations while promoting safety. It's important to employ effective guarding when mounting this device on machinery for various uses - failure to do so can lead to serious accidents and injury.
Qualified personnel is the only ones authorized to install, operate, service, and maintain this model. All users of this analog module must accept responsibility for any associated consequences; our company will not be held liable in these instances.
