The Allen-Bradley 1764-LSP is a MicroLogix 1500 processor that features a 7KB integrated memory, partitioned into 3.65KB for user programs and 4KB for user data, allowing for versatile configuration of function files and system resources. It includes a non-isolated RS-232-C port supporting ASCII, DF1, DH-485, and Modbus protocols for easy communication with HMIs, SCADA, and other devices, and offers robust connectivity options with eight local and sixteen expansion I/O modules. With approximately 1 ms program execution time for a 1K-word program and support for up to 512 inputs and outputs, the 1764-LSP is well-suited for small machine or process applications, although it is now available as a spare part, having been discontinued in 2017.
