TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The Allen-Bradley 1769-L33ER is a CompactLogix 5370 L3 controller. Through the Ethernet port, it may connect with other controllers or hardware. There is 2 MB of user memory on this controller. With the addition of supplemental flash memory, such as the 1784-SD or the 1784-SD2 card with 1 and 2 Gb of accessible memory, respectively, it is possible to enhance its size. With a maximum of 3 I/O banks linked by suitable extension connections, the 1769-L33ER can support up to 16 I/O modules.

The maximum power dissipation of the 1769-L33ER is 4.5 W and its draw current is 560 mA at 5V dc over 4 power supply modules. Its maximum bus insulation is 30V, and its backplane current consumption is 500 mA at 5V dc. Either panel installation or DIN rail mounting are possibilities for attaching the 1769-L33ER.

The CompactLogix controller 1769-L33ER weighs around 310g and has an open form (0.68 pounds). The operating temperature of the controller is between 0 and +60 °C (32 and +140 °F), while the storage temperature is between -40 and +85 °C (-40 and +185 °F). Additionally, it offers a 5% to 95% non-condensing operating humidity range. This device is compatible with a variety of power sources, including the 1769-PA2, 1769-PB2, 1769-PA4, and 1769-PB4.

Within the category of CompactLogix 5370 L3 controllers is the Allen-Bradley 1769-L33ER. These products offer flexible and affordable medium-sized application solutions. This controller is significantly more capable of extension than the micro automation controller and has Logix platform capabilities. The 1769-L33ER supports up to 3 I/O expansion banks and up to 16 local I/O module installs. Additionally, it has an inbuilt dual Ethernet module with auto-negotiation capabilities that functions as an embedded switch and offers a 10/100 Mbps data rate.

The controller's interface with the communication network is the Ethernet communication port. It uses the Ethernet/IP protocol to transfer data to and from partnered devices. 32 Ethernet nodes can be connected at once. Devices that may connect via this port often include HMI (Human Machine Interface), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), DCS (Distributed Control Systems), databases, converters, gateways, and other items.

Additionally, a single USB connector is provided, which may be used as a backup communication method. Typically, major setups and troubleshooting involve using this USB port. Furthermore, it may be used to modify the firmware.

This controller may be installed on a panel or a DIN rail, just as MicroLogix systems. Electronic racks or chassis are not necessary for cutting-edge control systems for large applications like ControlLogix. With the 1769-L33ER, a DeviceNet scanner module may be fitted. Additionally, you can install 1769-SDN. The DeviceNet interface can be used to communicate with small I/O modules that are connected via DeviceNet.
