The Honeywell On-Off Primary Burner Control with VPS is designed to operate at a frequency of 50/60 Hz, providing an intermittent main flame establishing period and an optional 4 or 10-second pilot flame establishing period. Additionally, it includes a shutter drive capability, a VPS check feature, and offers an LED fault indication system for error annunciation.
The unit is highly functional, incorporating an array of operation modes including automatic burner sequencing, flame supervision, system status indication, as well as both system and self-diagnostics for efficient troubleshooting. Notably, the product houses an inbuilt valve-proving feature which, for setup purposes, necessitates the S7800A1142 keyboard display, sold separately. Operation of the burner control requires both a subbase and amplifier.
For error indication, the power LED presents fault codes in a series of blink sequences, while enhanced features include a Modbus interface, keyboard display module, and a remote display module. For system sequencing, there are five informative LEDs, and the inclusion of interchangeable plug-in amplifiers offers adaptability. Operational and fault annunciations can be displayed either locally or remotely via the optional S7800 keyboard display module.
To secure essential data, the controller comes equipped with non-volatile memory, retaining history files and lockout status even following a loss of power. Users can choose between relight or lockout on the event of flame loss. The Honeywell On-Off Primary Burner Control with VPS functions optimally under an operating temperature range of -40 F to 140 F.
