The PCI-5153EX includes two analog input channels with BNC connectors, featuring an input impedance of 50 Ω ± 2 Ω and an overload capacity of 7 Vrms with peak voltages up to 10 V. Both channels allow for simultaneous sampling at a maximum rate of 2 GS/s, delivering a bandwidth of 500 MHz and 8-bit digital resolution. Standard onboard memory is 8 MB per channel, with the option to expand to 256 MB per channel, providing ample storage for extensive data sets. The input range of the device spans from 100 mV to 5 V.
For enhanced accuracy, the PCI-5153EX provides two calibration modes: External Calibration, which is necessary every two years, and Self-calibration, which can be executed via software commands to correct parameter errors across all input ranges.
