Description

The Allen-Bradley 1769-L30 is a member of the CompactLogix 5370 controller series, renowned for its robust capabilities as a Programmable Automation Controller (PAC). This series supports up to 32 tasks, each with 100 programs, and offers 1 MB of user memory alongside a 1GB non-volatile memory via a 1784-SD1 Secure Digital (SD) card. Notable for its dual Ethernet ports that function as an integrated switch, the 1769-L30 series supports Linear and Device Level Ring (DLR) topologies with a single IP address, facilitating up to 256 Ethernet I/P and 120 TCP I/P connections. Designed for versatility, it hosts up to 16 Ethernet nodes, allows the installation of up to eight expansion modules using 1769 Compact I/O hardware, and supports three I/O banks. Additionally, the controllers in this series are distinguished by their support for various programming languages including Relay Ladder, Sequential Function Chart (SFC), Structured Text (ST), and Function Block Diagram (FBD). The 1769-L30 also features a key switch for operation mode control and offers robust environmental ratings, including a wide temperature range, significant vibration and shock resistance, and conduction immunity certifications, making it ideal for diverse industrial applications.
