TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

MR-J3-100A

Mitsubishi's highly efficient servo drive MR-J3-100A is equipped with a built-in dynamic brake and is specifically designed to operate from the three-phase power supply (200 - 230 VAC). Its powerful performance makes it ideal for everyday automation needs.

The model MR-J3-100A boasts many safeguards, including cutoff for overcurrent and overheating, safeguarding against regenerative faults, low-voltage protection, velocity limitation, and error monitoring.

Technical Specifications of MR-J3-100A:

With this model MR-J3-100A, users can switch between three control modes on-the-fly - speed/position, position/speed, or torque/position. Each mode provides a specialized approach for adjusting performance and results depending on the task.

The model MR-J3-100A boasts a 6 amp rated output current and 170 VAC 3-phase voltage - allowing for greater precision with its configurable software. With it, users can simplify the amplifier's positioning capabilities to optimize their performance.

This 1.4 kg model features natural cooling to protect against extreme temperatures. Its precision control mode allows for a margin of just +/- 3 revolutions with adjustable torque limits from 0-10 VDC via either user settings or external analog input.

With the MR-J3-100A model's torque control mode, users can alter their speed limit between 0 to +/- 10 VDC via parameter setting or external analog input. Intuitive sine wave PWM and current control systems are integrated into the servo amplifier for an effortless user experience.

This MR-J3-100A model offers a wide speed control range, from 1:1000 up to an impressive internal rate of 1:5000. It also features a robust differential receiver that can process input pulse frequencies up to one million pulses per second while its open collector is capable of handling 200Kpps without issue.

The servo drive's control circuit is powered by a 30-watt source, providing reliable performance even with frequency variations of up to 5%.

Operating and Installation Ambiance Conditions:

Avoid potential safety hazards by ensuring the environment surrounding the servo amplifier is free of corrosive elements, dust, and oil mist. Upgrade to an IP54 control cabinet for improved protection from external influences.

Professional installation will provide a secure foundation – allowing maximum benefits from the MR-J3-100A model's performance capabilities while reducing injury risk. This servo amplifier performs best in temperatures between -20°C and +65°C, with a 90% relative humidity (non-condensing), even at altitudes of up to 1km.

Additional Functions:

This model MR-J3-100A includes a sophisticated resonance suppression filter to reduce unwanted resonances from mechanical systems. Gains, depths, and widths may be adjusted to fine-tune the effect. The servo amplifier adaptive tuning feature monitors machine vibrations over time, allowing automated adjustments of the filters' characteristics as needed.

Placement of the instruction triggers a frequency cutoff within vibration suppression control, lessening the amplitude and thus resulting in fewer vibrations at both ends - the workpiece and base.

In order to avoid high-frequency resonance, servo systems must be equipped with a ball screw or similar component. The torque command values have been calculated based on the low pass filter function of the drive system, thus ensuring maximum efficiency in response level amplification.

The MR-J3-100A servo amplifier automatically detects mechanical resonance and sets the filter characteristics to suppress vibration with Adaptive Filter 2.
