TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
FANUC A06B-6120-H030
FANUC has designed an innovative power supply module perfect for precision motion control applications. The A06B-6120-H030 PSM-30HVi module offers reliability and robustness, making it the ideal choice for industrial automation needs.
Technical Specifications
The FANUC I series, which includes the A06B-6120-H030, is noted for its innovative technology, quick response times, and great accuracy. An analog voltage, pulse train input, or serial communication can control the power supply unit.
This power supply module operates on 50/60Hz with a main circuit power supply of 400-480V and a control power supply of 200-240V. The main power equipment capacity of this power module is 44KVA.
The module has a 30KW rated power output capacity and a 60KW maximum power output capacity. The power module is small and light, weighing approximately 14kg.
The module generates 380W of total heat dissipation and 64W of residual heat in the cabinet. The heat-resistant cable should be 14mm2 or larger when installed.
Operating Conditions
The A06B-6120-H030 supply unit is designed to function at its best and last the longest when subjected to an ambient temperature range of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. The manufacturer recommends using this servo amplifier within a humidity range of 10 to 95 percent (non-condensing). Because moisture can harm the amplifier's electrical components, avoiding using it in environments with high humidity is best.
This power module can withstand intense vibrations of up to 4.9 m/s2 (0.5 g). An abnormally high level of vibration has the potential to cause damage to the module's internal components. The maximum operating altitude recommended for use with this servo amplifier is 1000 meters (3280 feet) above mean sea level. The machinery may overheat because the air density drops at higher elevations because there is insufficient air to dissipate the heat.
Installation and Transportation
Ensure the installation surface is flat, solid, and strong enough to hold the weight of the equipment. To avoid electrical shocks, properly ground the amplifier. Connect all wires and connections according to the manufacturer's specifications.
Ascertain it is properly wrapped and protected to avoid harm from vibrations, impacts, or other external sources. To transport the module safely, utilize appropriate handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. Also, use the original packing for transportation.
To avoid damage to the amplifier, the equipment (A06B-6120-H030)Â must be shipped and installed under the prescribed temperature range. The power supply unit should be protected from moisture, direct sunlight, and severe temperatures while being transported.
Safety Precautions
The A06B-6120-H030 is a complex piece of machinery, and as such, it needs to be handled with extreme caution to prevent any accidents or damage from occurring.
Turn off the power and properly ground the device before proceeding. Refrain from working on the power module with wet hands and clothes. Keeping the amplifier away from any moisture, dust, or other contaminants that could harm its performance is important.
When working with the equipment, it is imperative that you at all times wear the appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE), such as a hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves. It is not advisable to wear loose clothing or jewelry that could become caught in the machinery.
