The IC200MDL632 is a discrete input module designed for use with the GE Fanuc VersaMax series, providing 16 discrete remote inputs. These inputs are configurable as either positive logic, which receives power from input devices, or negative logic, which utilizes power from the return to the input device. Connections for input devices are made via the input and return terminals. Powered through the backplane, the module generates 16 bits of discrete input data processed by the CPU/NIU. It features individual green LED indicators for each input point, displaying the on/off state, contingent upon the availability of backplane power. The module supports a basic input on/off response time of 0.5 ms, although certain applications may necessitate additional filtering to mitigate noise spikes or switch bounce. Input activation capacity may vary based on external voltage, ambient temperature, and the positioning of both the module and DIN rail, with no derating considerations at 125 VDC.
