TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
MR-J2S-70B
The MR-J2S-70B model is a servo amplifier from the J2S-B series and offers superior functionality and performance. It receives position data directly from a servo system controller or equivalent device attached to it through a serial bus and then executes the desired action. , The clamp circuit places a torque limit on the servo amplifier MR-J2S-70B to prevent damage to the power transistor in the main circuit from abrupt acceleration/deceleration or overload.
Technical Specifications of MR-J2S-70B:
The MR-J2S-70B model has a high-resolution encoder with pulses of 131072 per revolution. The encoder can be used as a servo motor encoder as well. The voltage range for the three-phase power supply of the model is 200 to 230 VAC. The model weighs 1.7 kilograms and has various protective features, including Overcurrent shut-off, regenerative overvoltage shut-off, overload shut-off (electronic thermal relay), encoder error protection, Undervoltage, instantaneous power failure protection, and Overspeed protection.
The model MR-J2S-70B includes an adaptive vibration suppression control to detect mechanical vibrations and automatically adjust the filter characteristics to dampen them. The model has an integrated dynamic brake and current control system. The MR-J2S-70B servo amplifier also has a low pass filter to dampen the high-frequency resonance that develops when amplifying the servo system.
Ambient Conditions (operating and Installation):
The operating temperature range for the MR-J2S-70B model is between 0 and +55 degrees Centigrade, while the storage temperature range is between -20 and +65 degrees Centigrade. The operations and storage space might have relative humidity as high as 90 percent. The servo amplifier reaches peak performance when coupled with a specified servo motor. The servo amplifier is a delicate piece of machinery that should not be dropped or subjected to any stress.
You need sufficient side clearance (10 mm), top clearance (40 mm), and bottom clearance (40 mm) when installing a single servo amplifier. It would be best if you fit the fan properly to regulate the inside temperature of the control cabinet. The model must be positioned vertically for maximum performance and to avoid excessive vibrations. Protect the servo amplifier MR-J2S-70B by sealing any holes in the control cabinet that might let oil, moisture, metallic grit, or other materials inside.
General Safety Instructions for MR-J2S-70B:
Only use the servo amplifier MR-J2S-70B once you have read and understood the accompanying documentation, including all warnings and precautions. You must install the servo amplifier and servo motor before connecting the wires. If not, you might risk an electric shock. Refrain from using the servo amplifier if the front panel is missing. Warning: possible electric shock from exposed high-voltage connections and charging places. No components, such as a power capacitor, surge absorber, or noise filter, should be placed in series with the servo motor and servo amplifier to avoid interference.
It is recommended to connect a magnetic contactor between the main circuit power supply and the L1 to L3 terminal of the servo amplifier MR-J2S-70B and set the wiring up so you can turn off the power supply from the side of the servo amplifier. You must supply each terminal with the exact voltage required in the User Guide. Otherwise, there's a chance of a rupture, damage, or other issues.
